Here’s a quick look at upcoming CEC events scheduled for November:
Employer Information Session - Merrill Lynch Monday, November 3, 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Lefavour, Room 428 Merrill Lynch is one of the world’s leading wealth management, capital markets and advisory companies, with offices in 40 countries and total client assets of over $1 trillion. CEC Workshop - Implementation: Interviewing with Impact Wednesday, November 5, 3:30 - 5:00 pm Career Resource Library: One Palace Road, 304E Effective interviewing takes research, preparation, and practice. Learn what to anticipate in an interview, how to prepare for traditional and behavioral interview questions, and the keys to making a positive impression on the hiring manager.
Resumania Thursday, November 13, 12:00-1:30 pm in the MCB Lobby, Main Entrance; 2:30-4:00 pm in the MCB Lobby, Main Entrance; 5:30-7:00pm in the Bartol Dining Hall Need a resume facelift? Stop by one of three resume stations to have your resume quickly critiqued by human resource professionals and career coaches. Stations will be at: -MCB Lobby, Main Entrance: 12:00-1:30 pm -MCB Lobby, Main Entrance: 2:30-4:00 pm -Bartol Dining Hall: 5:30-7:00pm.
Employer Campus Visit - Disney English Learning Centers Monday, November 17, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm, the MCB Lobby, Main Entrance; 4:30-6:00 pm, One Palace Road, Room 410 The Walt Disney Company is opening up several Disney English Learning Centers for children throughout China. They have dozens of job openings for those interested in teaching English as a Second Language and looking for adventure and opportunity. CEC Workshop - Jobs and Careers Using Your Travel and Study Abroad Experience Wednesday, November 19, 3:00 - 4:30 pm Career Resource Library: One Palace Road, 304E Review a variety of occupations in the USA and internationally that could maximize your education, use your travel savvy, or send you abroad again - and this time you’ll get paid! Hear about careers in development, environmental issues, social change, and more.
