REMINDER: CAS Graduate Students! Dean’s Fellow Applications Due June 1

Fall 2009 CAS Dean’s Fellowships for Graduate Students The College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Graduate Fellowship is a one semester combined scholarship and assistantship award designed to provide students with financial support and to enrich their CAS experience through collaboration with CAS faculty and staff.

The scholarship is for up to $1000 and the assistantship is for up to $4000. Fellows work on special projects determined by the department/program they are assigned to and aligned with the Fellow’s skills and interests. Fellows work 20 hours per week at their assistantship and are paid hourly.

Appointments are for one semester with potential for a future or continuing appointment contingent upon performance in the assistantship position and in the CAS program. To be eligible students must be enrolled for a least four credits and must maintain a grade of “B” or better in each course.

•Strong analytical, problem solving skills

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•Experience with technology and web design preferred
