See message below from Danielle Barney, SLA Boston Chapter concerning the Boston Chapter Minority Scholarship. The deadline is April 1st and you do not need to be a member of SLA to apply.

Kind Regards, Emilie

Hi everyone,

Although this is posted on the chapter website and in the Bulletin, I wanted to remind members that the chapter is once again offering a $2000 Minority Scholarship. The scholarship is open to minority students enrolled in ALA-accredited library or information science programs. Students must be New England residents or be enrolled in a New England-based program. SLA membership is not required. The application deadline is April 1, 2005. The winner of the scholarship will be announced at the Annual Business Meeting in May.

For eligibility information and the application form please see the chapter site at: http://www.sla.org/chapter/cbos/, or email Scommittee members Margaret Shue (mshue@conley.com) or Danielle Barney ( dbarney@hbs.edu).
