Conference Scholarships Available: DEADLINE 9-15-05

The Northeast Document Conservation Center is offering several tuition scholarships for its “Persistence of Memory: Stewardship of Digital Assets Conference,” that will be held November 1-2, 2005 in Boston. The conference addresses the question of managing and preserving digital assets over the long term. Dean Cloonan will write recommendations nominating GSLIS students for these scholarships. In order for her to recommend you for a scholarship please submit a paragraph about why you would like to attend the conference. The due date to submit your paragraph to Dean Cloonan (michele.cloonan@simmons.edu) is September 15th. The deadline to register for the Persistence of Memory Conference Friday, October 21, 2005.
