New GSLIS Library Assistant for Mount Holyoke

Dear GSLIS students at Mount Holyoke:

I am very pleased to announce that Dixie Blake Foster has been hired as the new GSLIS Library Assistant for Mount Holyoke. Dixie has been in the GSLIS program for several semesters and has worked in the GSLIS Collection during the past semester. She has worked in the corporate sector in the publishing industry and brings will her a great customer service philosophy, enthusiasm for librarianship, and experience with a wide variety of computer system installations.

Only in the position for a little more than a week, she has been working hard behind the scenes to make sure all your reserve books were available and that all new students were entered in the patron database for library privileges.

Dixie will be coming to the Mount Holyoke campus soon to offer a series of instructional workshops and will be letting to you as soon as her schedule has been finalized.
