Commencement 2006 Information from Registrar

COMMENCEMENT 2006 Saturday, May 20, 2006 10 am at the Bayside Expo Center (graduates must report by 8:45 am)

Students who will finish their degree requirements by May 2006 are invited to participate in the commencement ceremony on May 20, 2006. Students who will finish their degree requirements after May 2006 will be invited to the commencement ceremony in May 2007.

This May, Simmons will celebrate its 101st commencement at the Bayside Expo Center in Boston. Tickets are not necessary to attend the commencement exercises. The Bayside Expo Center was selected because it can accommodate all of our graduates and their guests, while still maintaining an intimate setting. Directions to Bayside Expo Center are available at http://www.baysideexpo.com . Each graduate will be allotted 2 parking permits at the Bayside Expo Center lot. These permits will cost $12 each, and will be payable at the Expo Center.

Caps and gowns will be available for purchase from the Simmons College Bookstore beginning May 1st. Prices are yet to be determined. Photographs will be taken by Commencement Photos, Inc. and will be available for purchase by graduates and their families. More information about Commencement 2006 will be forwarded to graduating students at the end of March.
