Welcome to an afternoon with M. J. Tooey, Medical Library Association President
Catch these events on Wednesday, April 5:
Medical Libraries: Why Now? Why You?
Ms. Tooey will focus on the uniqueness and opportunities in medical
librarianship.
1-2 pm, C103
Special Reception: come meet Ms. Tooey and network with other medical
librarians.
Reception is free, however, RSVP is required

4-6 pm, Student Activities Conference Room, MCB (basement)
M.J. Tooey currently serves as the Executive Director of the Health
Sciences and Human Services Library at the University of Maryland,
Baltimore. She is active in the University System of Maryland and
Affiliated Institutions library system where she has been a member of
the Scholarly Communications and Budget task forces and currently serves
on its Executive Committee. She began a three year term as a member of
the State Library Resource Center Services Advisory Committee in 2005.
M. J. Tooey’s visit is co-sponsored by the Massachusetts Health Science Library Network (MAHSLIN) and the New England Journal of Medicine
