ASIS&T Career Event: Speed-geeking style! (April 24, 2006)

Attention ASIS&T members & fans (NOTE: this event is open to all interested GSLIS students)!

Please join us at the 2006 ASIS&T@Simmons Career Event: Speed-geeking style!

Six panelists are scheduled to attend from a wide range of ASIS&T-related fields, including a systems librarian, a vendor product manager, the web designer/manager of the Christian Science Monitor newspaper, and the founder of the blog “RSS4lib”. Each panelist will meet with a group of students for about ten minutes, with the students rotating in small groups until they have met with all the panelists.

The event will take place in the Staff/Faculty Dining Room in the MCB (it’s the room on the left when you enter through the lower entrance near the Fens) on Monday, April 24th at 6:30pm and will last until approximately 8:00pm. We suggest business casual attire and encourage bringing business cards if you would like.
