GSLIS Technology Workshop Series

During spring semester, the GSLIS Technology Group and the ASIS&T student chapter paired up to co-sponsor a series of workshops on emerging technologies. We’re offering most of them again this semester, and have added a few more! The series kicked off this week, and dates and times can be found on the Tech Lab website, but here’s the list:

Tips & Tricks Series:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Managing Digital Photos, Websites with Dreamweaver, Photoshop Basics, Intro to Macs

Emerging Technologies Series:
XHTML & CSS, Wikis, User Interface Design, XML, Tagging & Social Bookmarking, Podcasting & Internet Radio, Google Earth, Setting Up An RSS Aggregator

Additional details on each workshop will be available on the myGSLIS Events Calendar, and of course there will be flyers and announcements for each. If you aren’t able to make the sessions for a workshop you’re interested in, materials will be posted to the Tech Lab and ASIS&T websites.
