UCLA Professor Emeritus Robert M. Hayes presents: Libraries in National Information Economies: A Comparison of the United States, United Kingdom, and Croatia.
Dr. Hayes conducted research in the US, the UK, and Croatia on the use of library-like information functions in businesses ranging from traditional libraries to agricultural organizations. The lecture will focus on the research process, including the extensive data-gathering in Croatia, and a preliminary reading of the data.
