When? Thursday, November 30th from 6-8 p.m.
Where? The Kotzen Center, which is located on the ground floor of the library building/Lefavour Hall.
If you are interested in learning more about careers in the archival field, make sure that you attend this discussion! Archivists from a variety of backgrounds will be talking to students about their personal career paths, as well as their current positions and responsibilities. Come and find out what these archivists found to be most valuable to them as they started their careers, as well as ways to stay active in the field after you get that first job.
Speakers will include:
Nora Murphy, reference archivist at MIT and current president of the New England Archivists
James Roth, archivist at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library
Joanie Gearin, archivist for NARA- Northeast in Waltham
Martha Mahard, visiting professor at Simmons
