RefWorks is an online research management, writing, and collaboration tool that is designed to help researchers gather, manage, store, and share all types of information, as well as generate citations and bibliographies. If you need to manage information for any reason — whether it be for writing, research or collaboration — RefWorks is the perfect tool. One hour workshops begin January 23rd.
Tuesdays @ 10am
Thursdays @ 4pm
Fridays @ 1pm
Gather at the Beatley Library Reference Desk. No sign-up necessary, but if you have any questions or would like to register, contact Bill Gillis at gillisw@simmons.edu or 617-521-2822.
Workshops will cover how to:
- Access your literature reviews from any web-enabled computer
- Sort your citations by class or assignment
- Automatically insert footnotes in the style of your choice into your paper with one easy click
- Share your citations among classmates or a tutorial group
- Create a fully searchable database of citations that are particular to your research interests
- Output an entire bibliography in the style of your choice with a few simple clicks
