Job: LIBRARY TECHNICIAN II

Duties/Description: LIBRARY TECHNICIAN II, Mugar Memorial Library, Pardee Management Library (Tracking Code: 4065/H217)
Staff the circulation/reserve desk. Assist patrons in using the library, answer questions, explain policies and procedures, handle transactions and requests for materials to include charging out and receiving returned materials and interpreting on-line records for patrons. Responsible for general maintenance and shelf-reading the collections.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent plus additional courses, familiarity with the Library of Congress Classification System, and one year of library experience, strong customer service, computer and problem solving skills. This position is Sunday through Thursday from 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m., summer hours may vary.
