Architectural historian needs assistant to catalogue items in a research collection consisting of approximately 1300 books and pamphlets. A catalogue of 1700 items has already been created in Endnote. The assistant will determine if an item in the collection has already been catalogued and if not will either download and then clean up essential information from Worldcat (author, title, city, publisher, year) or enter the information by hand. A reading knowledge of Dutch is necessary. Prior experience with Endnote is desirable but not required.
The job is for the Fall semester, for approximately 13 weeks, 8 hours a week, starting in September and ending in January. The hourly wage is $15.00 an hour. The work location is a five minute walk from Harvard Square in Cambridge.
