Part-Time Evening/Weekend Circulation Supervisor
Northeastern University School of Law Library

This is a great opportunity for a library school student to learn various Circulation operations while getting some supervisory experience. All this and a quick commute from Simmons too!

Responsibilities
Extremely reliable person needed to staff the law library on Friday evenings from 4-9 p.m. with some additional hours possible. Duties would include, closing the law library on Friday and Saturday evenings and opening the law library on Sundays. Also, would supervise two (2) student workers in looseleaf filing, shelving, shifting of the collection, and shelf-reading duties as assigned. Some supervisory circulation functions will also be required, such as learning now to set up new patrons, etc.

Qualifications
Library School student preferred. Minimum education should include a college degree. Candidates must be reliable, able to work independently, be well organized, have a strong service orientation, be able to get along with coworkers, have good supervisory skills, be able to exercise good judgment, and have a pleasant and helpful attitude when dealing with library users and staff members. Candidates for this position must also be able to quickly master a variety of library computer programs, the locations of the library materials, and the basic law bibliography for answering reference questions.
