Research Analyst, Part-time
Location flexible
Leodas Search Group is a boutique retained executive search firm in Cambridge, MA and New York City that helps the country’s top non-profit organizations (mostly universities and academic medical centers) recruit talented professionals to raise private funds. Our firm seeks a Research Analyst to support a team of five recruiters and 2 other professionals on a wide range of search assignments. We seek a “Cybrarian” with MLS or equivalent systems experience in a corporate or library environment.
Reporting to the Project and Operations Manager, the Research Analyst will be responsible for:
- Developing research strategies and conducting in-depth primary research on industries, companies, non-profit organizations and individuals to assist recruiters to find candidates and generate applications for key positions with blue chip academic organizations.
- Preparing reports encompassing institutional overviews and synopses of relevant assignments for business development purposes.
Requirements/qualifications We seek an individual who is skilled in creative uses of the Internet, with competitive intelligence or other similar research experience. The hire will possess:
- Exceptional primary and internet-based research skills.
- Successful experience working in fast-paced, deadline driven environments.
- Natural curiosity and hunger to find answers and solve problems.
- Comfort juggling several research projects simultaneously.
