Entry level Research Associate position.

Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) is seeking to hire a Research Associate. This entry level position offers unique opportunity for someone new to the research business. This position will allow you to learn all of the tools of the trade while you conduct internal and external market, business and technical searches, prepare synopses and presentations of results and evaluate new research tools to be used by the department and CSC as a whole. This position is the first line of defense for incoming inquiries and identifies and locates pertinent information in support of basic research inquiries. The Research Associate handles the day-to-day management of the department’s request workflow system, including determining deadlines, request purpose and other relevant details.

Requirements:
Critical Knowledge: Factiva, Dialog, Lexis-Nexis, Invextext, major market research vendors including Gartner, IDC, Forrester, Internet sources and other business databases; Standard information center business and industry resources; business and technology taxonomy.

Other: Need to be able to work in a collaborative, virtual environment; Must have strong interpersonal and time management skills and commitment to lifelong learning of new skills.
