AVAILABLE POSITION
TEMPORARY PART-TIME REFERENCE LIBRARIAN (25 hours/week)
GENERAL ADULT & BUSINESS DEPARTMENT

PRIMARY DUTIES
Temporary, part-time 25-hour position in public library includes some evening and weekend hours.
Duties include telephone, walk-in and computer based patron assistance at the reference desk.

MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS
Master’s Degree in Library Science and 1-3 years experience in using Microsoft Office software and other computer research tools such as Reference USA, EBSCO, Newsbank, Novelist or other web-based research databases. Applicant must have excellent communication skills and demonstrated aptitude for serving the public. Prior experience working in a busy reference department in a public library required. Knowledge of Horizon ILS strongly preferred.

HOURLY RATE $15.41 - $26.97
