Temporary Librarians: Children’s, Teen and Adult Services.

QUALIFICATIONS: MLS degree preferred, or enrolled in Library Science graduate school; if presently a student, must have completed a reference course. Public library service experience preferred. Desire to work with young adults important. Experience with Minuteman Library System and/or III is considered a plus.

DUTIES: Perform a variety of duties in providing assistance to patrons in the use of all library resources. We are looking for individuals who are interested in working with various age groups. These are temporary, fill-in positions to cover for vacations, illnesses, and weekends and the hours vary depending on library needs. The ability to work at least one Sunday (1-5) per month is required. Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, creative and flexible.

SALARY: $19.22/hour
