LIBRARY DIRECTOR, HOLDERNESS LIBRARY, HOLDERNESS, NH

Qualifications: MLS from accredited program and a minimum of 3 years’ progressively responsible library management experience preferred. Knowledge of and experience in automated library systems, fiscal management, strategic planning, and collection and program development is vital. Computer skills required.

Duties: Holderness, NH is a quaint village on the shores of Squam Lake in central NH. This historic small town library requires a creative director to manage and participate in its overall operation on a day-to-day basis as well as provide visionary leadership into the future. The trustees are seeking a flexible, energetic leader with a positive, people-focused attitude and stellar communication skills to work with patrons, staff, volunteers, trustees and town administrators. The new director has an exciting opportunity to assist in developing a first rate organization to serve the community.

Salary: Commensurate with experience. Full time position with benefits.
