About Wheelock College
Founded in 1888 and located in Boston, MA, Wheelock College is a private institution with the public mission of improving lives of children and families. Summary:
Provide leadership for programs and services of college library and other academic resources; develop innovative educational resources for digital age.
Responsibilities:
- Administer operations and services of academic resources
- Plan and advocate for technology and educational resources
- Ensure access to library services for students and faculty not in Boston
- Promote intellectual and scholarly life of the College
- Work with library consortia; serve as voting member of Board of Trustees for Fenway Libraries Online
- Participate on committees and other programs at the College
Qualifications:
- Master of Library Science required, Ph.D. preferred.
- Extensive experience working in academic library environment.
- Supervisory, budgeting experience.
- Expertise in information technology related to library services.
- Ability to work collegially with diverse groups.
- Strong communication skills.
