About Wheelock College

Summary:

Provide leadership for programs and services of college library and other academic resources; develop innovative educational resources for digital age.

Responsibilities:

• Administer operations and services of academic resources
• Plan and advocate for technology and educational resources
• Ensure access to library services for students and faculty not in Boston
• Promote intellectual and scholarly life of the College
• Work with library consortia; serve as voting member of Board of Trustees for Fenway Libraries Online
• Participate on committees and other programs at the College

Qualifications:

• Master of Library Science required, Ph.D. preferred.
• Extensive experience working in academic library environment.
• Supervisory, budgeting experience.
• Expertise in information technology related to library services.
• Ability to work collegially with diverse groups.
• Strong communication skills.
