Job Description for Chelmsford Public Schools
Chelmsford Public Schools is seeking a certified Library Teacher for a full-time position open at the Middle School Level, grades 5-8, in a school of approx. 800 students. This position is in a brand new library, opened in September of 2006. The staffing includes a full-time library assistant, and the schedule is a mixed fixed-flex, with grades 5 and 6 seen on a fixed schedule, and grades 7 and 8 on a flexible schedule. The Chelmsford Public Schools is looking for impassioned, technologically enthusiastic, self-motivated candidates, who possess strong communication skills and an eagerness to work collaboratively with other teaching staff. We encourage all applicants who may believe they are a good fit for our population of high-energy middle school students to apply.
The chosen applicant will work with a wonderful team of library staff members headed by Valerie Diggs, K-12 Department Head of Libraries for the Chelmsford School District.
