American Society for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) Announces Student Grant
The ASIS&T Special Interest Group on Scientific and Technical Information Systems is offering a $1,000 grant to a library and information science student, with an interest or background in chemistry or chemical engineering, to defray the cost of attending the 2008 ASIS&T annual meeting. This money has been made available through a grant from Chemical Abstracts Service, a division of the American Chemical Society.
ASIS&T Annual Meeting 2008
“People Transforming Information - Information Transforming People” October 24-29, 2008, Columbus, Ohio
Requirements:
- A demonstrated interest in chemistry and information science.
- A current graduate student. Full-time enrollment is not mandatory, but will be given preference.
