Part-Time Pre-Professional Librarian

The Winsor School, an independent school for 430 girls in grades 5-12, is seeking a part-time Pre-Professional Librarian. This is a 15-19 hours per week appointment, to begin August 18, 2008. Job duties include reference and readers’ advisory, circulation duties, some technical services.

Required: BA or BS. Enrollment or stong interest in enrolling in an MLS program. Comfort in an online environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with all ages.

Desired: Strong interest in children’s and young adult literature.

Salary: $15/hr
