PT Temp Summer Help - MIT Rotch Library

MIT’s Rotch Library (http://libraries.mit.edu/rotch/), maintaining a world-class collection in art, architecture, and planning, seeks part-time, temporary help for the summer.
Duties include most aspects of library work, to include: providing circulation services, physical and electronic processing of objects (including basic database maintenance, labeling, shelving, and paging of items), responding to basic informational and directional inquiries, and helping to close the library.
Depending on interest and ability, there is the possibility of some projects working with images, maps and other parts of the collection. Some lifting required, of boxes no heavier than 50 pounds.
Start date: Soon
End date: Around September 14
Schedule: Primarily weekdays, about 12-16 hours/week between the hours of 3-7 pm with some flexibility.
Pay rate: $12/hr, Benefits not provided.
Includes weekends?: possibly at the beginning of and near the end of the summer, no more than 6 weekend shifts.
