The Property Information Resource Center (PIRC) in the Harvard University Planning Office is looking for a part-time graduate student assistant to join our staff for the summer. We’re a small, special library/corporate archive located within Harvard University, so you will get to see a little bit of every type of library/archive functionality!
The job entails supporting daily functions of Reference and Outreach, as well as Collection Management and Processing projects working with original materials—primarily analog and digital architectural drawings and property-related documents (previous experience with this genre not required).
Pay is $15/hour, schedule is 15-20 hours/week, M-F, between the hours of 9-5. Interviews will begin immediately; anticipated start date is May 19, but can be flexible.
Archives students are preferred; library-track students with an interest in working with special collections are also encouraged to apply.
