POSITION: 100%, 52 weeks per year

RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction of the assistant library director:
- Provides in-person and online reference services to the CCV/VTC college community;
- Assists with the development and implementation of CCV’s information literacy instruction program by teaching IL sessions (mostly online), consulting with faculty on the integration of information literacy in classes, and developing support materials;
- Supports faculty, students and site staff through training, materials and proactive communication;
- Provides collection development, technology development support, and performs other library and college duties as needed; and
- Participates in scholarly activities to represent the College in local and national college communities.
QUALIFICATIONS: Masters degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited program; Working knowledge of current library and instructional technologies; Instructional experience in a classroom setting and/or in distance education; Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; Commitment to information literacy; Ability to work independently in a non-traditional library setting; Demonstrated ability to produce instructional materials, both in print and digital formats; Must be flexible, willing to travel statewide and work outside of normal business hours.
