Heidrick & Struggles has been retained to assist in the recruitment of the Director of the Matas Library of the Health Sciences at Tulane University.

Located in New Orleans, Tulane is one of the most highly regarded and selective independent research universities in the United States. The Rudolph Matas Library serves as the primary resource library for Tulane’s School of Medicine, the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, and the National Primate Center.

The Director of the Matas Library has primary responsibility for providing to the faculty, residents, students, and staff the medical and public health information they need — when and where they need it. Emphasis will therefore be on development of point-of-need delivery in an increasingly digital environment.
