QUALIFICATIONS: Brockton Public Schools is seeking two full-time, certified Library Teachers for positions open in two schools: Grades 7-8 of approximately 525 students. Qualified candidates will have exceptional communication and inter-personal skills, strong classroom management techniques, purposeful and engaging curriculum, and experience in teaching and developing critical thinking skills. Library Media Specialist candidates must demonstrate opportunities for collaboration; stimulate interest in reading to struggling or reluctant readers; model effective use of information and technology; and teach research skills and use of online databases.
