Acquisitions/Serials Librarian
Under the direction of Head Tech Services/Systems Librarian, the incumbent is responsible for the management of the Acquisitions and Serials Units. Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from an American Library Association accredited program required. Three years direct experience in a library acquisitions department with management responsibility are necessary. Must demonstrate familiarity with MARC format, OCLC, and knowledge of the book trade. Background in business or accounting helpful but not required. Experience with Voyager Acquisitions module highly desirable. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This is a part time position- 30 hours per week.
