Social Sciences / Business Librarian

Responsible for planning, managing and delivering research, instructional, and consulting support pertinent to social science and business-related disciplines, with emphasis on digital resources, enhancement of undergraduate learning, and curricular integration of information literacy. Contributes to library liaison programs for School of Business, social sciences, and related disciplines. Develops and implements Web gateway for social science & business information services & resources. Works in a cross-functional, multi-team environment to share responsibility with other librarians & library staff for promotion of effective library service. Serves on one other library liaison team and participates in instructional development activities. Engages in outreach activity in support of community bibliography and digital scholarship repository.

Hiring will be at Librarian I (entry level) or Librarian II (experienced) professional grade, dependent upon background and experience, with competitive salary commensurate with candidate qualifications.

Masters in Library Science or equivalent, with an undergraduate degree in a business or social science discipline preferred; an additional graduate degree in a business or social science-related discipline desirable. Library and/or business work experience preferred.

Salary commensurate with background & experience; hiring minimum $40,000
