Volunteer - Brookline Public Library

BROOKLINE PUBLIC LIBRARY

The Brookline Public Library opened a new space in the library dedicated to teens in fall 2007. The Teen Librarian is looking for volunteer assistance for staffing the room at all times teens will be using the space (in particular, she still would like people to assist on Thursday afternoons/evenings and Monday evenings). Library school or education graduate school students who are interested in working with teenagers are preferred. At this time it will be a volunteer position, though there is the possibility to structure the time to help a student fulfill an internship or practicum requirement.
