Samuel H. Kress Foundation Summer Educational Institute LIS Student Scholarships 2009

Will you be an enrolled student in a Library and Information Science program during 2009? Are you curious about a career in Visual Resources or Image Management? Are you interested in attending the Summer Educational Institute (SEI)?

You may want to apply for a Kress Foundation Summer Educational Institute LIS Student Scholarship.

Information about SEI can be found on the website (currently describes SEI 2008, will be updated in early January 2009), http://www.vraweb.org/seiweb/. SEI 2009 will be held from June 8-13, 2009 at Simmons Graduate School of Library and Information Science in Boston, Massachusetts. The curriculum will vary some from SEI 2008, but the SEI 2008 website gives a sound idea of the basics covered.

Generously sponsored by the Samuel H. Kress Foundation, the two Kress Summer Educational Institute LIS Student Scholarship recipients will each receive $1500 for tuition, room, board and incidentals.
