Directions

This page provides important links to directions and parking information at the Boston and Mount Holyoke campuses. Please take a look at this information if you plan to take a class at a campus you do not normally attend.

Traveling to Boston?

Mount Holyoke students planning to take a class in Boston should be sure to note that there is no student parking available on campus due to the parking garage/quad construction project. Students are responsible for locating and paying for their own parking, and should plan to arrive early enough to find parking and walk to campus. For details, please see the Business Affairs webpage on Parking at Simmons. Please keep in mind that parking in the area surrounding Simmons is tight, and may be particularly difficult if there is a Red Sox game or event at a neighboring campus.

In addition, the Simmons College Office of Residence Life offers commuter housing for students who need to stay overnight on the Boston campus for academic, social or emergency reasons. For details, please see the Commuter Resources page.

Traveling to Mount Holyoke?

Boston campus students planning to take a class at the Mount Holyoke Campus should refer to the GSLIS @ Mount Holyoke Community page, and in particular the Mount Holyoke Campus Student Fact Sheet (PDF). Free parking is available across the street from Mount Holyoke at the Village Commons.
