Yes,

I definitely thought that it was very strange for the first few chapters, with the kids hanging out on the moon for vacation, and also the feed being basically installed into everyone's brain and making decisions for them. Also the language that the characters used with each other was very different. Overall it was very interesting.

I actually just finished Feed two days ago, and must admit, I enjoyed it. It is unlike any other book I have previously read, which made it all the more intriguing. The novel made many interesting and abstract points about American society and human nature, many of which I agree with and can sometimes witness and imagine myself.

Feed was...well..it was an interesting book. When I starting reading, I was not impressed with the language or the plot, but eventually, I became hooked. I became to enjoy it, just like Allie.

I liked Feed although sometimes I thought the author was talking down to me. The part that made me think the most was about an "inner space" -- you know, your own thoughts, your own self-image -- that often gets lost in the noise of every day life. Growing up in a big family in a small town, I've learned to value privacy and the idea that someone could just barge into my head and not just see what I see but feel what I feel doesn't seem like it's always a good thing.
