Library Closing Policy for Storms & Emergencies

In general, when the weather is bad enough for the College to be closed, the Library will be closed as well. In some circumstances, however, it may be possible to remain open and provide basic services.

Whenever hours change, Library staff will make every effort to publicize those changes, including posting that day’s hours to the hotline message, 617-521-3INFO and the Library web page, http://my.simmons.edu/library The Library’s extensive collection of electronic resources will continue to be available 24/7 from home or dorm.
