Simmons Librarian Presents on Career Resources and Blogs at National Conference

Kelly Jo Woodside, Simmons Career Resource Librarian, presented “CareerNow! — Providing Timely, Targeted Information Access through Blogging” at the Association of College and Research Libraries 13th National Conference on March 30 in Baltimore.

Kelly spoke about how the Career Resource Library traded in their browsing collection of career magazines for a blog highlighting current, relevant information from Library electronic databases and other Web sources. The result is a more efficient use of resources, along with better informed patrons and staff.
