Academe Today, The Chronicle of Higher Education's daily e-mail report, now available to Simmons community

The Library is pleased to announce that as part of the Library’s subscription to the Chronicle of Higher Education, you can now sign up for Academe Today, The Chronicle’s popular e-mail newsletter, which summarizes the latest news in higher education.

The daily briefing summarizes the news, career advice, and essays published in the current issue of The Chronicle’s print edition and provides links to the full text of each week’s issue on the Chronicle’s Web site.

To sign up to receive the email, go to https://0-chronicle.com.library.simmons.edu/services/?slm to create a free Chronicle account.

Once you have registered, you’ll receive your own copy of Academe Today the next weekday morning.

When you sign up for Academe Today, you can also subscribe to other free Chronicle e-mail newsletters.

When you are on campus, if you read an extract in the email for which you’d like to see the fulltext, you can simply click on the link in the email to be taken to the full article on the Chronicle’s web site.

When you are off campus, if you read an extract in the email for which you’d like to see the fulltext, you’ll first need to go to the Library’s web site at my.simmons.edu/library and choose the Chronicle from our list of eresources in order to get to the full article.
