Great Books For Winter Break Reading Available At The Beatley Library

Looking for a terrific book to read over the winter break? Then the Beatley Library has good news for you. Beginning on December 6, and continuing through December 21, when you check a book out from the Diversions Collection, it won’t be due back until January 22, 2008.

The Diversions Collection contains books and audiobooks that have been selected for your recreational reading pleasure. Chosen by a committee of library staff members, and reflecting a wide range of interests and tastes, the collection includes novels, short story collections, graphic novels, mysteries, histories, biographies, humor, cookbooks, travelogues, and books on science, sports, and politics.

Usually, you may borrow Diversions books for just 14 days. However, to accommodate our patrons’ desires to enjoy some great reading over the long winter break, we have adjusted our system so the due date for all Diversions will now be January 22.

The Diversions Collection is located on Level One of the Beatley Library, near the Circulation Desk. Please stop in and check out a book to enjoy until next semester.
