African American Trailblazers Library Display

The Library celebrates Black History Month with a new collections display, African American Trailblazers.

The display features books, videos, and periodicals by and about African Americans whose wisdom and courage have changed their lives, the lives of other African Americans, all Americans, and even the world.

Highlighted individuals come have made their mark in many different sectors including art, entertainment, literature, politics, activism, sports, and scholarship.

Come see works by and about trailblazers like Phyllis Wheatley, Toni Morrison, Spike Lee, Jackie Robinson, Shirley Chisholm, Barack Obama, Bayard Rustin, Fannie Lou Hammer, W.E.B Dubois, and many more.
