Education majors, teachers, and school librarians! Tried our E-book Collection?

Posted September 21, 2009

Calling all education majors, teachers, and school librarians! Have you tried the library’s new Education E-book Collection?

Looking for information about leadership, assessment, or using technology in your classroom or library? Need ideas for classroom management, aligning your curriculum with standards, or for supporting English language learners? Beatley Library can help!

We recently added over fifty e-books to the library’s Curriculum Collection including many titles previously available only from the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), a premier educational publisher. The collection contains updated editions of standards such as Classroom Instruction That Works and Understanding by Design and many other recent titles.

E-books can be accessed 24/7 from your dorm, your home, your classroom or library. No special reader or hardware needed. Read the book online or print just the chapters, vocabulary lists, rubrics you need.

To use this fabulous new resource, click on Gale Virtual Reference in the A-Z list of E-resources on the library website and then choose Education. Need information or assistance?
