This workshop will review a variety of occupations in the USA and internationally that could maximize your global education, use your travel savvy, or send you abroad again—and this time you’ll get paid. Hear about occupations in development, peace, travel, business, environmental issues, social change, and more.
Secrets of Job Search Success
Wednesday, February 8, 12:30-2pm
Discover the keys to a successful job search: set your goals, know your strengths, research and target employers, find job openings, and network your way into employment. Learn the “how to’s” and benefits of a proactive job search, as well as tools to stay organized and on track.
Marketing Yourself Professionally: The Two-Minute Infomercial
Thursday, February 9, 6-7:30pm
It takes more to get a job than a resume! Learn to communicate your strengths, accomplishments, and career goals in a powerful and concise manner by creating a verbal marketing piece. This technique works when networking, exploring career options, and interviewing.
