It’s time to begin preparing to find a successful learning opportunity or to land a summer job. Check out a career field firsthand to see if it is a good fit, gain resume-building experience, and put yourself ahead in the job search after graduation.
Marketing Your Travel Experience: Resumes and Interviews
Thursday, February 23, 3-4:30pm
While traveling, you “navigated unfamiliar systems” and “developed problem-solving strategies.” Employers look for these skills! In this fun, interactive workshop, we will identify the marketable skills you have gained, describe how to incorporate travel on your resume, and provide tips on showcasing your international experiences during job interviews.
Changing Careers: Facing Transition
Thursday, February 23, 4:30-6pm
The average worker changes career direction four or five times in her lifetime. Meet other alumnae/i and students considering or already navigating a transition and begin building a roadmap for your career change. This interactive workshop will give you the tools to begin assessing your transferable skills, to learn about the best resources, to discover how to make important networking connections, and to market yourself in a competitive environment.
