According to this article, there is a growing demand for bilingual workers, especially in highly skilled jobs: “Nationwide there is a shortage for bilingual pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and speech therapists ….” The article mostly discusses possible jobs for those who are bilingual in Spanish and English, but also mentions that there are more requests now for Chinese or other Asian languages.
