This article notes a growing trend in study-abroad internship programs. One student looked back on her experience of working on the set of “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” while studying abroad in London and noted that “interactions with local residents and a chance to gain a more practical understanding of the entertainment business were highlights.” According to the article, students benefit in many ways, but it “helps foreign-language students in particular.”
