This article includes a great breakdown of tasks to be accomplished when applying for graduate school. Keep in mind, however, that the timeline is flexible, and it may not be too late to finish what needs to be done for next year!
For more information about graduate school, including choosing a program, the application process, and funding resources, check out the Career Resource Library’s list of resources at http://my.simmons.edu/library/collections/career/gradprog/index.shtml.
Also, don’t miss the Career Education Center’s upcoming workshop on writing effective graduate school application essays. It will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 31, from 4:30-6pm in the Career Resource Library (P304E). See http://my.simmons.edu/library/collections/career/workshops.shtml for more information or to register online.
