Class of 2007, are you ready for some great news? Employers are looking to hire you! They plan on hiring “17% more graduates from the class of ‘07 than they did in 2006,” and salaries are expected to rise 4.6%.
Since the baby boomer generation is retiring, companies are looking for younger employees for their workforce. Some companies have sent out recruiters to colleges to search for new employees. Yum Brands Inc. (which markets Taco Bell and KFC) sent out postcards to students in the fall looking for interested graduates.
