America’s Job Bank is being discontinued on June 30 this year. The National Association of State Workforce Agencies has selected JobCentral National Labor Exchange (www.jobcentral.com) as a replacement. JobCentral searches postings nationwide that you can keep broad or tailor to your needs. It also has features and advice of potential use for people interested in diversity, students, veterans, and executives. You can search without signing up, but there is also a member area with extra services. They claim that “over 70% of the jobs on JobCentral are not on traditional job boards.” While it’s hard to verify this statement, it may be worth checking out the site in your employment search.
