This article discusses the progress of underrepresented groups in sports management positions over the past ten years, focusing on Latinos and women in major league baseball. While some advances have been made, there is still a long way to go. Nevertheless, Jamie McCourt, who, as Dodgers vice chair and president, holds the top rank of any woman in baseball, believes that each success helps pave the way for others. “Every time one of us is successful,” she notes,” we’re all successful.”
