Sarah E. Needleman, Wall Street Journal (Eastern ed.), April 10, 2007, p. B1.

Are you a blogger? This may be your new way to get that job you have always wanted. According to this article, technology and media fields are using blogging as a way to find future employees. Some recruitment managers even scan blogs regularly to look for new talent.

Greg Sterling, a strategy consultant for Internet companies, states that job offers are “a natural byproduct of the exposure you get from blogging.” To suggest that you are looking for a job, one career branding specialist recommends you note in the “About me” section of your blog that you are “interested in learning about opportunities in your field.”
